meebo is looking for talented Front-End Web developers with a focus on Flash and ActionScript who have the chops to create the best instant messaging widgets on the web. We’re looking for developers that have a deep understanding of ActionScript-centric Flash development and who aren’t afraid to jump back and forth on different web technology platforms (a decent appreciation for the differences and similarities between ActionScript and JavaScript for instance).

2+ years of ActionScript software development experience
Degree in Computer Science (or equivalent)
Phenomenal debugging experience (and perseverance)
Excellent communication and collaboration skills
Familiarity with more recent versions of AS2 (Flash 8). Flash 9/AS3 experience is a huge plus
Experience with Flex and AIR also a plus
Experience with web programming (DHTML, CSS, JavaScript, CGI’s)
The ideal candidate will be a bright, logical team-player
Familiarity with the modern day copy and paste culture of viral widgets
