IVAVI is an early stage start-up based in the bay area. We're going to launch a game changing business and social development portal soon (weeks not months). We are looking for a rock star or highly skilled UI web developer/designer who would thrive in a startup environment.
Skills needed:
Exceptional HTML, CSS, JavaScript skills
JavaScript libs (YUI, JQuery, ...)
Good understanding of browser behaviors and their remedies
Capable of meeting milestones/time-lines
Desirable:
Good with DreamWeaver (typically) or some other page designer
Design sense and attention to details
Knowledge of current trends and best practices in front-end architecture, including performance, accessibility and usability
Acquaintance with some CMS helpful (Wordpress, MeshCMS,...)
Nice to have:
Some knowledge of one or more scripting languages (php, jsp,...)
This is a founding team or early member position where you will be working in close collaboration with a very experienced CEO and equally experienced CTO. We have validated our model over the past two years, are generating small revenues, and expect quick adoption, upon the release. Your salary will be in the form of stock options until the company is funded and/or generating adequate revenues.
