May 19 2008, 5:01 PM EDT I am engaged in a search for a UI architect for a stealth mode, high potential enterprise software startup funded by Greylock Ventures. We are seeking a UI architect to design and build a UI framework, front end design and plumbing from the ground up. This would be a principal UI engineer/architect role with an opportunity to hire a team down the road and outsource design elements more immediately. Senior UI Engineer We are a stealth‐mode, high potential, start‐up backed by top-tier investors is looking for a stellar engineer to help architect, design and code our core technology and product, and solve real-world problems. We are developing an innovative solution for automatic on-demand scaling and deployment of enterprise applications in virtualized or cloud computing environments. This is a ground‐floor opportunity for a strong engineer with entrepreneurial spirit, who is interested in solving challenging next-generation data center problems, and in working with a very strong team of engineers, researchers and product managers. Requirements: · Excellent UI Design skills · Expert-level skills in Flex/Actionscript programming · Good Java Programming skills · Ability to take an idea and produce a mock UI quickly · Web 2.0 UI design sensibility · Comfortable with iterative development · More than 5 years of professional UI development experience Pluses (and big pluses): · Experience with Java programming tools/processes – ANT, JUnit etc · Experience with Java/J2EE as backend to UI Do you find this valuable? |
