Hey,
www.myblogband.com is a website where musicians can collaborate through the global workspace of a band that they start or join. Upload, download, rework and repost tracks in our patent pending file sharing system. It's free to join, and download music when you register. Get featured as a band, and musician. We are looking for new features and additions to the site, and are looking for developers who want to get involved for an invested interest. I as the managing owner, have many ideas for possible additions and explorations into the potentialities of the website. Contact me for more information.

Hello,
I think you need to look into openlaszlo http://www.openlaszlo.org/ which is better than flex 2.0
You can create google maps via flash and ajax based on it, it’s better than Flex and for free since it’s an
open source ;)
You can with openlaszlo to make flash and ajax output, so you code it for once, and you can have any
output you want.
Multiple runtimes has always been on the roadmap. LZX was conceived as a language that would be
independent of Flash. This is being proven out with the implementation of the AJAX/DHTML runtime.
Finally they signed up with sun to support Mobiles as well. http://www.openlaszlo.org/node/342
Sun Microsystems Inc. the creator and leading advocate of Java™ technology, and Laszlo Systems,
Inc., the original developer of OpenLaszlo, a leading open source rich Internet development platform, today announced a collaboration to enable
OpenLaszlo applications to run on devices supporting the Java™ Platform, Micro Edition (Java ME) application. With this move, Sun and Laszlo are actively
contributing resources to a new project for the OpenLaszlo community, code-named Orbit.
So I think Flash with OpenLaszlo is much better than using flex or ajax.
Google Maps here by OpenLaszlo
As for google Maps in Flash check it here ;)
Google Maps demo: http://laszlo.jp/lps/samples/googlemapsonlaszlo/googlemapsonlaszlotest.lzx.swf
sources : (SVN of google code) http://openlaszloincubator.googlecode.com/svn/trunk/googlemapsonlaszlo/
So I guess OpenLaszlo is the way to go ;)

For a minute I thought you work for OpenLaszlo. It has been very interesting our tech group has reached so far outside Silicon Valley, Bay Area. Adobe along with Macromedia is the leading software provider for design, web and video production. We like to introduce Adobe Lab to our members with their latest technology Flex and their experise in Web 2.0 support. I have been watching OpenLaszlo for many months and agree with you on their technolgical advancement. Due to our limited time slots we will have to cover OpenLaszlo at a later date. I can assure you that there are upcoming monthly meetings are going to kick some Sss in certain areas. I will be announcing an important meeting that involve WWW around the globe. We like our global viewers to participate and wouldn't mind out-of-state visitors to travel to attend our WWW event.

We are attempting to record the entire session for the very first time. We like to make the recorded session available if the quality is good. Unfortunately we don't have the facility support to do webex and audio bridge. Any sponsor out there want to help us?
